| Introduction |
China Electronics Purchasing Association
(CEPA) was founded in August 2003, under the sponsorship
of China's Ministry of Information Industry (MII)
and the China Electronics Enterprise Association
(CEEA). CEPA is a nationwide nonprofit association
composed of enterprises that purchase or supply
electronics components and some other related enterprises
or institutes.CEPA is a nationwide industry organization
for China's fast-growing electronics purchasing
community. It's members are primarily procurement
managers and materials professionals in China's
electronics industry, who are responsible for cooperating
with, and promoting and exchanging Chinese OEMs,
purchasing professionals and international electronics
suppliers.

Goal |
CEPA's overall goal, through exchanges
and collaboration, is to improve the skills, expertise,
knowledge and efficiency of purchasing managers
in China. CEPA will help these professionals cope
with increasing business challenges resulting from
the rapid growth of China's IT economy and rising
global competition.
